What is Alexander Technique?

Alexander Technique -- teaches how to improve body coordination and functioning by inhibiting the habitually inefficient movement that have created distortions in physical motion. The technique focuses on naturally lengthening the spine upward and freeing restrictions in the neck and head. The results include a feeling, in the head,  of freedom to float forward and upward, and a lengthening and widening of the back. The Alexander Technique, popular with performing artist, has proven useful in treating a wide range of muscular skeletal problems as well as vocal problems and stress related conditions.
